Photography by David Wang
Originally from China, David Wang grew up in a classical music family, and his plans were to become a concert pianist. But about four years ago David discovered photography, and decided focus entirely on becoming a professional. “- I actually still get most of my inspirations from classical music, composers like Chopin and Rachmaninoff, and films. Foreign films to be more specific,” he says.
Now the New York City based photographer has shot for publications such as Essential Homme and Kenton Magazine, and his photographs have been exhibited in The Hermitage Museum, in St. Petersburg, Russia. And what about the future? “- Well, my plans for the future are keeping working as a freelance photographer and hopefully find an agent soon.”
Here’s some of David’s work:

Vibrant, they each tell a story. Coming from a background of playing classical music I can actually see it’s influence here!
