Mojave by Susanne Kindt
The Los Angeles based photographer Susanne Kindt made her debut on Ben Trovato in March with her story Rain. Now the Swede is back with another nature inspired story, Mojave: “- Just northeast of Los Angeles is the Mojave desert, an amazing stretch of forgotten land where few people live but all my photography heroes have used as their backdrop. Abandoned houses, coyotes and scary roadhouses. I brought my team out there for a day’s shoot with Alle from Next. The idea was to embody the surroundings and create a feeling of belonging.“
Alle was styled by Devon Rodgers, and had make up done by Jose Monzon.
Susanne explained in her last apperance on Ben Trovato that she made the move from Stockholm to Los Angeles back in 2005 to assist for photographers like Miranda Penn Turin and Cliff Watts while shooting her book with the local modeling agencies. Read more about that here.

Her work is fantastic! Of all desert shots in the world (and I’m a sucker for the desert+fashion+sunlight combo), this one has got to be my favorite. :)

beautiful work! and the model has a gorgeous face, such a shame she lacks in attitude.

I agree with the other comment, the model’s face is very beautiful, I wish she would have brought a little bit more. Cause from the styling to the photography is superb! Having her emote just a little more would have definitely put the cherry on top.
