Born in 1974 in Rio de Janeiro, Pino Gomes grew up feeling the breeze of the atlantic ocean. He finds ideal beauty manifested in sensuality and sex appeal, which also defines his direction: “- Besides, of course, an infinite research on the web, exhibitions, books and films,” he says before he continues: “- I also draw inspiration from my work experiences as an actor and make-up artist, and I always try to profit from the various creative opinions of my team.”

In 2007, Pino moved from Rio to Zurich, where he now lives with his wife, continuing to shoot for major commercial and editorial clients. His name has been attached to Playboy, GQ, Rolling Stones, Homme Vogue Brasil, Coca-Cola, Calvin Klein Free and now he’s entirely engaged in an exciting assignment for GUESS Collection, the jewelry branch of Guess, preparing an exhibition for the Basel World, the ultimate jewelry fair on the globe.
