Photography by Bruno Wong
Bruno Wong has been taking pictures since 10th grade, but it wasn’t until about two years ago he made it into a profession: ” -Fashion photography came to me while I was photographing friends and family — some friends were modeling, then it took off from there. Photography is more about self-expression. It’s all about the gut feeling that guides me to produce something which registers a reaction with people when they see my work. It’s about communication. I love people. I love hearing their stories and finding ways to connect with them.”
The Toronto and NYC based photographer finds inspiration in the works of fellow photographers like Juergen Teller, Terry Richardson, Irving Penn, Ryan McGinley, Steven Meisel and Chadwick Tyler. At the moment he’s shooting a lot of tests for different model agencies, as well as shooting some campaigns: ” -The last couple shoots were for campaigns for “Unk & Wil” and “Ralph & Duchess”, brands both currently making their runs in NYC. The “Unk & Wil” campaign featured the amazing Victoria’s Secret model Andi Muise.”
