Fashion photographer Andrew Woffinden’s work could remind you of Chris Heads or Terry Richardson’s work. I love his style, and believe he has a great future ahead of him in the fashion world.

So here it is, finally, the post #100 her at Ben Trovato Blog. And for this special occasion I have chosen to feature what is one of my absolute favorite fashion photographers, Sølve Sundsbø. Sølve Sundsbø is a Norwegian fashion photographer who started out taking reportage and action photos of his friends skiing and clubbing and realized that he wanted to pursue photography seriously. He moved to London in 1995 where he studied at London College of Printing, before working as an assistant for photography legend Nick Knight for three years.
“He’s accelerated at a fast rate,” says Nick Knight. “I can always tell which of the assistants are going to do well because they have drive. Add to that the fact that Sølve loves all things modern. He’s excited by the future. New technologies have entirely changed the photographic landscape and he’s someone who is embracing these different directions.”
Now Sølve has worked for clients like Giorgio Armani, Bally, Boucheron, Etro, Givenchy, Gucci jewellery, Hermès, H&M, Iceberg, Lancôme, Estée Lauder, Yves Saint Laurent, Levis, Nike, Sergio Rossi, Emanuel Ungaro and Puma. His editorial clients include Another Man, Dazed and Confused, Harper’s Bazaar, i-D, Japanese Vogue, Numero, Pop, Visionaire, V and W. He has directed short films for Nike, Gucci and SHOWstudio.
Sølve’s work is a huge source of inspiration to photographers all around the world, and especially to Norwegian photographers, like me. As there are not any other Norwegian fashion photographers doing it as good as Sølve
Here’s a huge collection of his work:

New York based fashion photographer Alex Freund shoots some amazing black and white photos. I’ve only been able to find small bits of information about Alex, nothing worth mentioning. If you have any good additional info, please shout out.
Anyways, here’s some of his work:

New York based fashion photographer Greg Manis has done editorial work for magazines such as V, Plastique, Preen, Nylon and Intersection. His commercial clients include Nike, Sportivo and Ogilvy. I love his daring and raw style.

New York based fashion photographer Ryan Yoon’s dreamy and surrealistic style is amazing. Colors, models, scenery. This is a photographer that truly knows how to compose photographs with the right visual tools to achieve stunning results.

Wow, this is a real goodie. Ever since Greg Williams’ shoot with Megan Fox for Esquire earlier this year, his photos have been featured on blogs and websites all around the world. So Greg is not one of those up and coming, because he’s already up there, but I believe his work will inspire a lot of you!
Greg started out as a photojournalist in the 90s, before moving over to film and worked as a “Special Photographer” on over 120 films including “King Kong”, “The Talented Mr Ripley”, “The Bourne Ultimatum” and “Attonement”. In recent years Greg started shooting fashion, mostly for Vogue Italia, for whom he has shot several 20+ page editorials.
He has produced advertising campaigns for Omega, Lacoste, Hifiger, Dior, Dunhill, Escada and Barclays Bank.
Here’s some of his work (including Megan Fox film for Esquire, and a short film for Agent Provocateur, which Britain’s News of the World described as the “worlds sexiest advert”):

Good Morning, Megan Fox (video):
Chris Searl has done commercial work for clients like Levis, Mooks, Sony Music, Stussy, Myer, and many more. His editorial clients include Vice, Oyster and Nylon. From his website:
“As a photographer Chris has completed national and international campaigns for Levis, Mooks, Mambo, Sony Music, Bonds, Stussy, Myer, Insight, Modular Records and a number of magazine titles, including Vice, Intersection, Oyster and Nylon. As a director Chris has completed full production on a cinema commercial for the General Pants Clothing Group, directed and shot a series of 3 commercials for Nike, station idents for World Movies/SBS and an aria commercial for Triple J. When he’s not shooting portraits, fashion or general lifestyle reportage images he’s chasing around his two kids on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.”
